While shuffling down the supermarket aisles you might wonder how the packaging let alone the marketing has changed over the last few decades....no longer is product shipped to the grocer to be weighed and bagged for sale...now we have, with few exceptions everything, wrapped in a plastic that with every best intention, will still fail to become environmentally friendly.....
how much land file do we have before we say enough
as much as i love a Big Mac .To be told that its a weight watchers special this week had me reeling...
but be grateful that the cardboard boxes will disintegrate in time....unlike your waste line
Now that the government of the day has no put an exception on gst for fresh produce.....is that an indication that we should be out in our own gardens.....for even basic items.
And for those who are rabid meat eaters....the butcher gives a better deal than a supermarket who is packaging plastic wrap with cuts that really in decades passed would have been cat food....the example is gravy beef.....now a stew item....and priced to match.....once cat food before we ended poisoning pussies with canned product.....
and how many plastic bags can you actually recycle
